Home from the hospital!

Sunday night after church, Uncle Thomas and Aunt Karissa came to the house to stay with Jack and help welcome us home, and by about 9pm Aaron and I made it home with little 25 hour old William Aaron Wilson- or Wil for short!

Jack meets his new brother!

Since Wil was born after Jack had fallen asleep for the night on Saturday (it had been a big day at Gpa & Gma's) he came up Sunday afternoon after church! What a sweetie he was, lots of kisses for his little brother. But notice where he wanted to sit after he had sat on my lap and shared my lunch- the baby's bed, I wonder if there is a little jealousy? Oh well, I am sure we will all do well through this transition.

Hurray, Hurray, Hurray!! for my great support team!

Aaron and Trina were with me the entire ordeal, Mom was able to make it up for some labor and delivery (while Dad took turns with Jack), and Dad was able to deliver Papa John's at lunch and to step off the elevator just as Wil began scream "I've arrived!" Thanks so much for all the love, encouragement, and support.

Who does he look like?

I thought for sure I'd have a little carbon copy of Jack, but not so! How sweet is the little routine of eating, sleeping, and diapers, I had forgotten that. I think it should help with Jackson's transition from only to older brother.

Oh, Boy! here we go again!!

But what a blessing, inducement is intense, but it was only 10 hours this time and a breeze compared to last time. Although Jack was also 21" long, our new little guy bested his brother by 1lb 5 oz at 8lb 12 oz!

Better late than later

How appropriate for this Christmas season- No room in the Inn, hospital actually. We were rescheduled for 8am Saturday morning because there were no hospital beds open for me. So we got one last deep sleep before the new arrival.

Inducement is scheduled! Dropping Jack off for his first sleep over

Friday 12/12/08 at 5pm we were scheduled to be induced for little Wil's arrival. So Friday afternoon we dropped Jack off at Grandma's for his first sleep over! Doesn't his face say, "Come on Mom, I'll be fine. Enough kisses there's a camera on us." LOL

In honor of Jackson being the only child for just a few more nights, we made a special McD's playland visit

and (at 18 mths to the day) Jack crawled all the way up to the top of the play-land and slid down the slide by himself! He just wanted to prove to us and himself, that he is ready to be a big brother.

Trying to catch up on missing updates...

DONE!!! or Abandoned. Why? Because Baby Wil is here!

Nanna, Poppi, GG, Aunt 'Liv and Cousin Davey come up for a visit!

A new personal best!

After a big play day this August, Jackson set a new personal best nap record- 2 hours and 20 minutes!!! How exciting for me.

Stink! I think this was built to last!

Jackson is testing the new fence that Dada and Papa put up to see if he can sneak out. But to my delight, it keeps the little adventurer in. For now (till he learns to climb over) my exercise of chasing him out of Iris's garden is over.

My little muscle man!

My little muscle man! His squeels of delight and the look on his face said that the only thing better than a summer day in the sun and splash pool is one when you're just wearing a diaper!

Hurray! I now have internet at home!

Just in time for some holiday shopping and holiday website surfing- we've gotten internet access at home. So- for the next few nights, as I await little Wil's birth, I'll be doing a little catch up on my four months of very limited internet use.
