fun at home

fun on our computer!

A program called photo booth makes it appear that the person on the screen is at different places. Well, Jackson loves the Coral Reef one. He "swims" and makes "fish faces" for as long as I can deal with both boys on my lap in my computer closet :).

Part 2

My little Wil- he is 14mths and looks like a carbon copy of his dada! He so wants to do everything that his big brother Jack does, but only after sitting on my lap and watching Jack do it. He is more of a cuddler and more contented than my Jack, with a very happy disposition (as long as I'm within view). He babbles and hums a lot, but doesn't talk much- instead he has his own sign/gesture language. He and Jack play together very well, except for when Wil topples Jack's block creations :D. I think I am going to have my hands very full in another couple months when they both are toddling around at full speed in the back yard. These days are such fun and so special.

yup did it again- 7 months!

FOR REAL This time I'll try to keep up with it... at least for a few weeks. So here it goes:
Jackson is 2 1/2 yrs. and full of energy all day (6:20ish till 7:30 or 8 with an hour nap), he loves to talk, read books with me, and play with...everything and anything for about three minutes before he moves on to the next thing. Jack can sing and pick out by sight his alphabet; and we are working on numbers (1-10). He has about 5 Bible verses (in part) memorized perfectly, and can even quote them while disobyeing! At anytime during the day he might burst out with "I wov you Mama!" and run to me with a big hug... true it is often followed by a request for a popcicle or a piece of candy, but it melts my heart every time :D. He is my bundle of fun energy that makes me laugh and frustrates me a little everyday. Especially as we work on potty training which I know that he could do if he wanted to.

Home from the hospital!

Sunday night after church, Uncle Thomas and Aunt Karissa came to the house to stay with Jack and help welcome us home, and by about 9pm Aaron and I made it home with little 25 hour old William Aaron Wilson- or Wil for short!

Jack meets his new brother!

Since Wil was born after Jack had fallen asleep for the night on Saturday (it had been a big day at Gpa & Gma's) he came up Sunday afternoon after church! What a sweetie he was, lots of kisses for his little brother. But notice where he wanted to sit after he had sat on my lap and shared my lunch- the baby's bed, I wonder if there is a little jealousy? Oh well, I am sure we will all do well through this transition.

Hurray, Hurray, Hurray!! for my great support team!

Aaron and Trina were with me the entire ordeal, Mom was able to make it up for some labor and delivery (while Dad took turns with Jack), and Dad was able to deliver Papa John's at lunch and to step off the elevator just as Wil began scream "I've arrived!" Thanks so much for all the love, encouragement, and support.
